In class we've been using our names for recognizing letters and learning their sounds. This week we finished an art project that integrated sponge painting fall colours with our names. We tried to make it look like our names on fallen leaves.
The children had a great time during the activity. They were focused and engaged in learning. I loved the buzz of activity as they read out each other's names. Not all the names are on the walls yet. I've run out of wall space and will extend into the hallway next week!
